For all Architecture lovers , Omotesando Avenue is the place to go to get a good experience of modern architecture in Tokyo. This avenue is often compared to the “Champs-Élysées” in France. Indeed this area is filled with luxury brands.
Yoyogi park , on the way toward Omotesando. You can spot the “Koyo” or change in colors of autumn leafs. The pick of color is meant to be very soon.

Are you ready for a stroll in Luxury town ?
Dior & Kenzo
Hugo Boss
Burburry
Welcome to Sin city ! A place where money doesn’t mean anything anymore. This street is great to get the Luxurious feel of Tokyo city. But this place doesn’t vibrate with me as I don’t enjoy shopping , and especially for such price tags ! Nevertheless , if you have the money and enjoy Luxurious shopping , it is certainly is a good place. The shops architecture is quite an experience to watch.
Let’s shop some more.. ?

Longchamp
Cartney & Louis Vuitton
Small street at the far end Omotesando. Still some cool architecture.
Figaro , a french Brasserie.
The Nezu Museum , a pre-modern Japanese and East Asian art museum of Nezu Kaichirō. It was closed by apparently quite a nice place to visit, which I might soon.
This Ometesando avenue was interesting. It’s always a social experience when you walk around so many different areas of one city. You get to discover the diversity of the human spectrum. You get to feel the different expressions of life. Walking this avenue was cool , I’ll recommend doing it at night to get the lightings. I then walk to Roppongi Mori Tower
Mori tower and “Maman” , a french piece of art representing a giant spider !
This place has the best viewpoint that I have so far discovered in Tokyo.
I wanted to see Tokyo Tower from closeby. I can actually see a fraction of this big tower from my guesthouse in Kichijoji , so I got excited to see it from close. After a good 30 min walk , reaching destination , but first …
Maison Landemaine , a French bakery along the way. I tried a Croissant there , which was very tasty. French food is expensive in Japanese as it somehow represents the quintessence of fine cuisine. I paid 500 yen for one croissant (4 euro) but it was a good one. Crispy and buttery ! And the waiters spoke some French too.

Iconic Tokyo Tower.

There she is , Tokyo Tower , the sister of our Eiffel Tower. Actually Tokyo Tower height is 333 meter which is 33 meter higher than our French Tower. The Top floor for visitors is at 250 m on Tokyo T and 276 m for Eiffel T.
Mesmerizing view from the bottom. At night this tower becomes majestic. It gives a surreal feel. A good place to see if you have time.
You could also access the observation main deck for 1500 yen (12 euro) or 3000 yen (26 euro) for the top deck. I didn’t go because it’s quite pricey I think. The view from Mori tower and Shibuya Scramble Square remains my top favorite. You get 360° of unblocked view of the city. I have not tried Skytree neither this tower but from reviews it seems expensive for what it is. The view is through a window which is not the same (windows arent super clean usually). And the main downside is that FROM Tokyo Tower you DONT see Tokyo tower.
Another day in Tokyo , Multifacet Mega City
Mirrors of life.
